Katie is a multi-disciplinary theatre artist. She's an 11x winner of Pitch Weekly's Best Actress, a 4x Broadway World Winner for Best Director, a 2x Best Actress Nominee for KC Magazine, and winner of KC Magazine's Best Wedding Officiant. She is also the 2025 Recipient of the "Hero of Note" Award from the Heartland Men's Chorus, She currently serves as secretary on the UMKC Conservatory Alumni Board, and as Artistic Director of KC Strips, a philanthropic performance organization benefitting AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City.

Katie has appeared on almost every stage in the Kansas City Metro area, as well as appearances in NYC, The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Bedford Fringe, and Camden Fringe. She was a finalist in The Stage UK's "Big Ideas" Campaign, and was a speaker at the "Future of Theatre" Conference at @sohoplace in April 2025. She is an Intimacy Director (Cert Pending) through IDC, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Arts Leadership and Fundraising at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
