​Katie is an award winning director currently based in Kansas City, MO Her directing credits include regional premieres, workshops, staged readings and world premiere works. She is the recipient of four Broadway World Awards for Best Director, and is currently finishing her thesis work at the RCS. She has worked as a solo producer or generative artist for over 15 years, seeking to innovate alternative performance opportunities within the Kansas City and abroad.  She was invited to speak at the 2025 Future of Theatre conference on the West End in London, where she was one of six finalists in The Stage UK’s “Big Idea” competition.

Her work centers purpose-driven storytelling, artist advocacy, and commitment to ethical, expansive, and radically collaborative creative spaces.
